MOVIE REVIEW: HELLO, SCHOOLGIRL

Please play this soundtrack called Is this Love? by Oh Ji Eun

Well, hello everyone! I seem to be in a really good mood today. Ya'll wanna know why? Okay, so it's because recently I've just finished watching this cute romantic comedy Korean film called, 'Hello Schoolgirl'.

The movie was  Adapted from a popular webcomic by Kang Full.

30-years old Kim Yun-woo (Yu Ji-tae) moves into a new apartment.

Yun-woo (Yu Ji-tae)
Okay, you gotta love this fella. He's just soooo adorable! Even if he's 30! He's that Mr. I'm-so-sorry-even-if-it-was-your-fault-dude who's just utterly kind and submissive and SHY!

He is a civil worker at the local district bureau and leads a solitary life until he meets the daughter of one of his neighbors, 18-years old Han Soo-young (Lee Yeon-hee).

Han Soo-young (Lee Yeon-hee)
Man, isn't she just gorgeous! Her character plays a character of a very hmmm let's say passive high schooler who falls in love with a man 12 years older than her.

When one day she forgets the necktie of her school uniform at home she asks Yun-woo to lend her his. From that day on the two meet more frequently and a deeper friendship evolves.

Here's my gal, Choi Soo Young playing the role of  Jeong Da-jeong as the lead character's best friend. Funny when the real 'Soo Young' is actually just being played as the main character's best friend.

At the same time Yun-woo's friend Kang Sook (Kang In) approaches the 7 years older Kwon Ha-kyeong (Chae Jeong-an) at a subway station.

Sook seems to be head over heels in love with her, but even though the two have some dates, Ha-kyeong rejects her new boyfriend, eventually, because the scars of her prior relationship are still too deep for her to start a new one. Yun-woo on the other hand must realize that society doesn't approve the kind of relationship he has with the schoolgirl Soo-young.

MY REVIEW:

Okay, so now I get to point out my opinion on the movie. At first I was only interested in checking out my favorite SNSD (Girl's Generation) member, Choi Soo Young because I am a total fan of her. Well, as I browsed through her filmography, I saw that she co-starred in a film called 'Hello Schoolgirl' so, I checked it out in youtube and found my self laughing at the cute scenes. So I loaded some more and before I knew it, I finished the whole movie.

The story revolves four different people in love disregarding their huge differences in ages. When you're in love, you just don't seem to care at all. If you love him/ her do what your heart tells you, but always do remember to think things over before you stumble hard.

ENJOY!

THE PROMISE
